Overview
Not many (if any) manufacturers could pull off the official color of the ‘70s, brown, or in this case, Sepia, as well as Porsche could. Then and now.
If you know anything about the K. Watts personal collection, brown is the preferred color of choice when it comes to Porsche. This 73.5 911T checks all of the boxes for the personal collection or a strong weekend driver. Rare year model, numbers matching, well sorted, documentation including a COA and Porsche Classic Certificate, and has an underbody clean enough to eat off of. Oh, and of course it’s Brown!
The 1973.5 model marks the transition from the early classic 911s to the more modern versions. It was the last year of the long hood body style and the first year of the Bosch K-Jetronic CIS fuel injection system, making it a unique blend of old and new. Obviously, the ’73.5 model was produced for only half a year, making it relatively rare compared to other 911 models from the same generation. We always ask our clients who is looking to make a wise decision when adding another classic to the garage. How many did they make and how many are left in this condition? We can almost guarantee that you will not find many like this example in this condition on the market.
