5 years ago a good client sent me on an adventure to Vancouver, BC to check out this Datsun 280Z. To put it simply I was absolutely blown away!
Claudio, the gentleman who owned the cars, was truly a Z car fanatic and it showed as he spent hours showing me the minutest of original details throughout the car. The original paint is simply exceptional, The original interior is amazing.
The engine compartment is neat and tidy and as it should be with the insanely low mileage. I talked my client out of the car about 6 months ago and we started the process of detailing everything and we are finally done! I sent the car to Florida to my good friend Scott Ales who has become renowned for his talent in Dry Ice cleaning.
The process is very time-consuming and expensive but it's the only way I've seen to get all the dirt and road grime off the original surfaces without damaging the factory coatings. The chassis and engine compartment are simply amazing with all the factory markings still visible. This car has never been shown and the originality and the paper trail will quite simply blow your mind!
